Our Story

Hi, I'm the creator behind Working Wags Gear- a Christian-owned small business with a big heart for the Service Dog community.

As a disabled handlers, I live with Autism, Adhd, POTS, Chronic Migranes, a PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) and more- and my incredible Service Dog has been with me through it all.

At the time I was beginning my search, I was carefully looking into different breeds, trying to figure out what breed would best fit my lifestyle and also be capable of being trained as a Service Dog for my needs. A Labrador was one of the brreds I was considering- then, almost out of nowhere, I found out about him (my current Service Dog). It felt like it was meant to be. I ended up driving about 45 minutes to an hour from where I was to go get him. I truly believe God gave him to me at just the right moment, right when I needed him most.

He came into my life just as my POTS symptoms were starting to get worse, and having him by my side brought a sense of hope and stability. Even as a tiny 10 week old puppy, he naturally began alerting to my heart rate, which I ended up shaping into full cardiac alert and response tasks.

Now, at 3 years old, he's a loyal, hardworking Service Dog and best friend. One of his favorite tasks is retrieval. His love and devotion are one of the main reasons I started making custom Service Dog Gear. He inspires me daily.

Each piece of gear is made with love, intention, and deep care. Whether it's playful, fun, silly, bold, or serious, my goal is to make something that brings comfort, joy, and confidence to both you and  your Service Dog.

Thank you for being here. It truly means the world to me, and I'd be honored for your pup to wear something made by me.
